1. Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, also known as the "Toy Train'', was the first railway in Asia to receive a UNESCO Heritage Tag in 1999

It connects New Jalpaiguri with Darjeeling, and offers panoramic views of tea gardens, dense forests, and the mighty Kanchenjunga

2. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in Mumbai was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site on July 7, 2004

It is an outstanding example of late 19th century railway architecture, characterized by Victoria Gothic Revival and traditional Indian features

3. Nilgiri Mountain Railway, scaling an elevation of 326 metres to 2,203 metres, got its UNESCO tag in 2005
