Chapped lips are very common in winter due to cold, dry air, indoor heating, wind, and lower humidity, which strip moisture from the delicate skin on your lips

Here are some effective home remedies and tips to soothe, heal, and prevent them

1. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Dehydration worsens chapped lips, so aim for at least 8 glasses daily

2. Coconut Oil: A natural moisturiser with antimicrobial properties. Apply a small amount directly to your lips several times a day. It seals in moisture and soothes cracks

3. Honey: Honey is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and deeply hydrating. Dab raw honey on your lips for 10–15 minutes, then rinse or leave on

4. Aloe Vera Gel: Pure aloe vera (from a plant or store-bought without additives) cools inflammation and hydrates. Apply fresh gel to lips 1–2 times daily for soothing relief
