Who Is An NRI?
An Indian-born citizen who has emigrated to another country for work, education or some other purpose and has not acquired citizenship of that country.

Can NRIs Vote?
Yes, an overseas Indian or Non-Resident Indian is eligible to vote from the address mentioned in their passport.

Eligibility Criteria
The individual must be 18 or above.
They must not have acquired foreign citizenship.

How to enroll
Fill Form 6A online at https://voterportal.eci.gov.in/ and upload the requisite proofs.
Alternatively, you can download Form 6A from ECI website and sent it by post with self-attested documents.

How to Vote
You will be allowed to vote in person at the polling station if you show your original passport.
