Norway's Pulpit Rock is a famous granite cliff, 604 meters high, with a flat, square-like top, rising above the Lysefjord.

It was formed by glacial ice during the last ice age, approximately 10,000 years ago.

Also known as Preikestolen, the cliff is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Norway.

The cliff has an almost perfectly flat, square-shaped top, measuring about 25 by 25 meters.

The hike to the top is about 3.8 km one-way and takes roughly 2 to 2.5 hours, or 4-5 hours round trip.
