Perform proper warm-ups before starting with the squats. Stretch your quads and glutes. Use a foam roller if possible.

Start with bodyweight squats as warmup before reaching the barbell. Perform multiple sets in quick intervals.

Most people forget that bracing the core is one of the fundamental movements while perfoming squats. Take a deep breath and tighten the core.

As you move down, actively push your knees outward in the direction of your toes. This prevents knees from caving in.

Aim for depth. Lower your body until the thighs are almost parallel to the floor. It helps engage the glutes and quads effectively.

Distribute weight evenly across your midfoot and heels. The heels should stay planted on the ground. Avoid shifting onto your toes.
