Sloths are extremely slow-moving mammals that spend most of their time hanging from trees. Their slow pace helps them avoid predators

With a heavy shell and short legs, tortoises are built for slow walking, not running

Penguins are agile swimmers, but they waddle on land and cannot run due to their body structure

Despite being quick in short bursts, snakes slither and can't “run” like legged animals
