Delhi could soon see hot air balloon rides, with four scenic locations proposed by the Delhi Development Authority.

Yamuna Sports Complex, Commonwealth Games Complex, and riverside spots Asita and Baansera are being prepped for the launch.

The DDA has appointed a private agency for three years. If successful, operations may be extended to nine years.

Timings And Space Allocated

Each site may operate for up to four hours daily. Around 3,600 sqm has been earmarked for each launch pad.

Ticket rates are still being finalised. The initiative will follow a revenue-sharing model between DDA and the operator.
