Through my perspective, many get distracted mainly because of social media nowadays- which when happens for long ends up becoming a fear, hesitation etc of studying

Studying for longer requires one to be calm, patient and when they actually need to study- like in case of exam (its pressure) or if its something interesting or relevant to you
