Pomodoro is best for those who cannot concentrate for longer and often find themselves distracted

Through my perspective, many get distracted mainly because of social media nowadays- which when happens for long ends up becoming a fear, hesitation etc of studying

Studying for longer requires one to be calm, patient and when they actually need to study- like in case of exam (its pressure) or if its something interesting or relevant to you

You can try to use Pomodoro for lighter topics and then switch to deep work for mastery of the particular domain or subject

Even on a day before exam, you can try pomodoro in case you find yourself distracted and are not able to concentrate
