The National Testing Agency has opened application window for Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2026 Session 1

JEE Main 2026 will be conducted in two sessions — Session 1 from January 21 to 30, 2026, and Session 2 from April 1 to 10

The examination will consist of two papers — Paper 1 and Paper 2

Paper 1 is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes (BE/BTech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs)

Paper 2 is conducted for admission to BArch and B Planning courses across the country

JEE (Main) also serves as the eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs)
