Want to know your expected score before the result is announced?
Here's how you can calculate your marks easily using the official answer key

First, download the official answer key and your response sheet from the exam website. Keep the marking scheme handy, as every exam has different rules for correct, wrong answers
Now start matching your responses with the official answers. Count every correct answer carefully, mark the wrong ones, and leave the unattempted questions separately

For example, some exams give +2 marks for every correct answer, deduct -0.5 marks for every wrong answer, and give 0 marks for unattempted questions

Heading 3
Use this simple formula to calculate your score: (Number of Correct Answers × Marks Per Question) minus (Number of Wrong Answers × Negative Marks). For expected score

For example, if you got 40 correct answers and 10 wrong answers in an exam with +2 and -0.5 marking, your score will be (40 × 2) – (10 × 0.5) = 80 – 5 = 75 marks

Remember, this is only your expected score. Final marks may change after revised answer keys, normalisation process, or grace marks applied by the board or commission
