CBSE Board Results 2024: Key Highlights

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results for the 10th and 12th board examinations on Monday

The pass percentage for Class 12 board exams stands at 87.98%, while for Class 10, it is 93.6%

The Class 12 pass rate registered a marginal increase of 0.65% since last year's 87.3%, while the Class 10 result saw a 0.5% rise from the previous year's 93%

In the Class 10 board exam, over 47,000 students have secured marks exceeding 95%, while 2.1 lakh students obtained above 90%

In the Class 12 board, more than 24,000 students have scored above 95%, and over 1.16 lakh students secured marks above 90%

In Class 12 examinations, girls outshone boys, with a success rate of 91.5% against 85.1% for the latter

In Class 10 exams, girls outperformed boys, recording a pass percentage of 94.8% against 92.7% for the latter

Thiruvananthapuram led the Class 10 board results with a 99.8% pass rate, followed by Vijayawada (99.6%), Chennai and Bengaluru (both 99.3%), Ajmer (97.1%), and Pune (96.5%)

In the 12th board exams, Thiruvananthapuram led among the 17 CBSE regions with an impressive pass rate of 99.9%, followed by the recently created Vijayawada region, Chennai, and Bengaluru
