Wipro Gains Ahead Of Fourth Quarter Earnings Announcement

Share price of software services major Wipro gained around three per cent on Thursday, April 15, ahead of the company's announcement of its fourth-quarter results for financial year 2020-21. On Thursday, Wipro opened on the BSE at Rs 420.40, touching an intra day high of Rs 433.35 and an intra day low of Rs 415, in the trading session so far. On the NSE, Wipro opened at Rs 418.90, touching an intra day high of Rs 430.40 and an intra day low of Rs 415, in the session so far, against its previous close of Rs 418.95. On the BSE, Wipro was last trading at Rs 2.70 per cent higher at Rs 429.95. Meanwhile, on the NSE, it was last trading 2.73 per cent higher at Rs 430.40.

In the third quarter of financial year 2020-21, Wipro reported a consolidated profit of ₹ 2,968 crore for the, rising 20.4 per cent, compared to ₹ 2,465.7 crore in the second quarter. Wipro's consolidated revenue for the October-December quarter clocked Rs 15,670 crore — higher by 3.8 per cent, compared to Rs 15,096.7 crore in the September quarter.
