Union Budget 2015: Sensex Soars, Stocks to Watch When Arun Jaitley Speaks
The BSE Sensex opened with strong gains on Saturday ahead of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's first full-year Budget. A higher closing on the Budget day would snap a three-year losing streak for domestic stock markets. If Saturday's Budget meets expectations, it would also help prolong a market rally that has made the BSE Sensex the best-performing emerging index in the world. But, analysts warn that equity markets could see a sell off of 6-8 per cent if the pro-growth measures in the Budget fall short of expectations.

The Sensex has so far rallied 39 per cent since last February.

At 10:50 AM, the Sensex was up 208 points at 29,428 and the Nifty advanced 57 points to 8,902.
