Singham Returns Collection Racing Towards Rs 100 Crore

Singham Returns starring Ajay Devgn is racing towards Rs 100 crore in box office collections. It is also set to take over Singham's overall collection at the box office.

"Singham Returns has a super-strong Monday (partial holiday). Racing towards the lifetime biz of Singham [Rs 100.30 cr nett]. India biz (sic)," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted on Tuesday.

Singham Returns also starring Kareena Kapoor and directed by Rohit Shetty was released on Friday. Till Monday, Singham Returns had grossed Rs 92.47 crore, Mr Adarsh tweeted.

Singham Returns has also seen a strong reception at overseas box office. According to Eros, which distributed Singham Returns in the overseas markets, the action thriller grossed nearly Rs 15 crore in its first weekend.

Singham Returns is co-produced by Ajay Devgn Films, Rohit Shetty Productions and Reliance Entertainment.
