Singham Returns Beats Singham's Lifetime Business
Singham Returns collection has surpassed Singham's lifetime business at the box office. Singham Returns has already garnered 107.12 crore, leaving behind Singham's total collection of Rs 100.30 crore at the box office.
"Singham Returns Fri 32.09 cr, Sat 21.05 cr, Sun 24.55 cr, Mon 14.78 cr, Tue 8.21 cr, Wed 6.44 cr. Total: Rs 107.12 cr nett. India biz. (sic)," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
Singham Returns stars Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor and is directed by Rohit Shetty.
"Singham Returns is Ajay Devgn's 5th Rs 100 cr grosser. Rohit Shetty's 5th film [4 - Rs 100 cr, 1 - Rs 200 cr]. Reliance's 6th Rs 100 cr film," Mr Adarsh tweeted.
Singham Returns is co-produced by Ajay Devgn Films, Rohit Shetty Productions and Reliance Entertainment. The film released on Friday.
Singham Returns has also seen a strong reception at overseas box office. According to Eros, which distributed Singham Returns in the overseas markets, the action thriller grossed nearly Rs 15 crore in its first weekend.
