Shares in Sesa Sterlite fell 5 per cent and Hindustan Zinc traded down 3.8 per cent tracking the slump in parent Vedanta Resources Plc's shares, dealers say.
Vedanta shares fell 8 per cent after reporting lower quarterly output at its oil and gas, zinc and Zambian copper businesses.
