Salman Khan On a Record Breaking Spree With Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Salman Khan-starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan, after becoming the highest grosser of 2015, has now emerged as the third highest grosser ever on the domestic box office, according to Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

The movie on Monday collected Rs 9.30 crore which took its total collection on domestic front to Rs 250.02 crore, the trade analyst said in a tweet.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which has already become Salman Khan's highest-grossing movie ever, now has to cross collections of PK and Dhoom 3 to become the highest grossing movie ever in India.

Ever since its release Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan has been on a record breaking spree and has shattered several records.

Last week its global distributor Eros International had said that it was the fastest-ever Hindi movie to collect Rs 100 crore.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which was released on more than 4,900 screens across 50 countries, is making a strong mark overseas also.

According to a tweet by Taran Adarsh, the movie had collected as much as $18 Million (Rs 115.59 crore) overseas at the end of its second week.

The Kabir Khan film also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Harshaali Malhotra and Om Puri.

Produced by Salman Khan Films (SKF) and Rockline Venkatesh, the movie brings forward a story about a little Pakistani girl, who loses her way on the Indo-Pak border and finds herself in India.
