Humsafar will be a fully air-conditioned train for budget passengers, in which meals will be optional.
Tejas will offer a preview of high-speed bullet trains with quality services like entertainment and local cuisine. "It will travel at 130 km an hour and offer on-board WiFi services," the minister said.
Uday Express will be an overnight double decker service for the busiest routes in the country. It is an acronym of "Utkrisht Double-Decker Air-conditioned Yatri".
Mr Prabhu said there would be "Antyodaya Express" and "Deen Dayalu coaches" for the common man.
On the Antyodaya Express, people can travel super-fast without reservation. They will be given free water and more points to charge their phones.
"Launch of unreserved, superfast trains, Antyodaya Express and Deen Dayalu coaches illustrate our unwavering commitment to serving the poor," said Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
