NFL Posts Net Loss Of Rs 60 Lakh In June Quarter

New Delhi: State-owned National Fertiliser Ltd on Friday reported a net loss of Rs 60 lakh for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 on lower income and higher finance cost.

Its net loss stood at Rs 10.16 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a BSE filing.

Income from operations fell to Rs 1,375.68 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal from Rs 1,552.77 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Finance cost rose to Rs 71.21 crore from Rs 66.32 crore during the period under review.

The company's shares closed at Rs 35.20 apiece on the BSE, up 2.92 per cent.
