Kalpataru Power Transmission June Quarter Net Up at Rs 48 Crore

New Delhi: Engineering firm Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) today reported a 15.6 per cent growth in standalone net profit at Rs 48.41 crore for the quarter ended June 30.

The company's net profit in the year-ago period was Rs 41.86 crore, it said in a regulatory filing.

The total income from operations of the company increased to Rs 1,169.61 crore from Rs 1,063.38 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.

Company's Managing Director Manish Mohnot said in a statement: "We have good revenue and margins visibility on the back of strong order inflows in the last quarter and current L1 position.

In addition to transmission business we are also getting some success in getting infra business on track in terms of execution, order inflow and profitability."

Despite several challenges, the firm has succeeded in achieving commercial operations of our BOOT projects, which would strengthen our cash flows and returns, he added.

KPTL is engaged in power transmission and distribution, oil and gas pipeline, railways, infrastructure development, civil contracting and warehousing, and logistics business.
