IT stocks gain as Accenture raises profit guidance

India's software exporters gained after global rival Accenture on Thursday raised its full-year profit forecast and the lower end of its revenue forecast. (Read full story here)

That helps bring some relief after Tata Consultancy Services and Infosys warned about their quarterly revenue growth in recent weeks.

HCL Technologies surged 2.2 per cent, Infosys is up 0.7 per cent and Tata Consultancy Services gained 0.6 per cent.
