Petrol and diesel rates were left unchanged in metros on Friday. Currently, diesel continues to be more expensive than petrol in the national capital. While the price of petrol at Indian Oil fuel stations in Delhi is Rs 80.43 per litre, the diesel rate is higher by Rs 1.21 per litre, at Rs 81.64 per litre. That makes the national capital the only city among metros at present where diesel is dearer compared to petrol. Petrol and diesel rates in the country vary from state to state.
