GHCL Q4 net up 7 per cent at Rs 52.72 crore
Dalmia Group firm GHCL Ltd reported on Friday a marginal rise in its standalone net profit by 7 per cent to Rs 52.72 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2013.
It had reported a net profit of Rs 49.38 crore in the March quarter previous fiscal year, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The company's net profit rose even as its total income dropped to Rs 540.09 crore in the fourth quarter, against Rs 548.90 crore in the year-ago period.
However, for the entire FY13, the company reported a fall in its net profit to Rs 114.95 crore from Rs 119 crore in fiscal year 2011-12.
Total income increased to Rs 2,124.94 crore from Rs 1,896.73 crore in the review period.
Shares in GHCL Ltd, on Friday, rose marginally by 0.20 per cent to close at Rs 33.50 apiece on the BSE.
