Colgate Palmolive Declares Interim Dividend

New Delhi: FMCG firm Colgate Palmolive (India) Ltd on Monday declared an interim dividend of Rs 3 per equity share of Rs 1 each for financial year 2015-16.

"The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on March 28, 2016, has declared a third interim dividend of Rs 3 per equity share of Rs 1 for the financial year ending March 31, 2016," Colgate Palmolive said in a filing to the BSE.

The said interim dividend will be paid on the paid-up equity share capital of Rs 27.20 crore involving a total payout of Rs 98.20 crore.

The company had declared the first interim dividend of Rs 4 per share in November and the second (interim dividend) of Rs 3 per share in December 2015.

Shares in Colgate Palmolive, on Monday, ended 1.93 per cent lower at Rs 824.30 apiece on the BSE, whose benchmark Sensex index finished down 1.46 per cent.
