Cairn India, Kotak Bank in Focus Today

Kotak Mahindra Bank will announe its Q3 numbers. Standalone net profit is seen rising 32 per cent year-on-year to Rs 448 crore and net interest income is seen growing 17 per cent to Rs 1,070 crore, according to brokers polled by NDTV.
MindTree met Q3 estimates. It reported a net profit of Rs 141 crore on revenue of Rs 912 crore for the October-December quarter. Its dollar revenue grew 0.4 per cent sequentially to $148 million dollar.
Hindustan Zinc reported better-than-estimated Q3 earnings. Its net profit grew 38 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2,379 crore. Revenue jumped 12 per cent to Rs 3,803 crore.
Cairn India/Sesa Sterlite: Moody's has revised its outlook on Vedanta to 'negative' from 'stable' citing sharp fall in oil prices. It estimates Cairn's ebitda, or gross profit at $1 billion in FY2016 against $2.3 billion in FY2014.
