Badlapur Box Office: Earns Rs 24 Crore in First Weekend

Badlapur is not just receiving favourable responses from audiences and critics alike, but it is also raking in the moolah at the box office. According to trade website koimoi.com, Badlapur made Rs 24 crore in its first weekend.

Badlapur was released on Friday and has Varun Dhawan as the lead actor in the revenge drama. The film is directed by Sriram Raghavan and boasts of acclaimed actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vinay Pathak and Divya Dutta as part of the cast.

Badlapur's weekend collections are impressive, given the fact that it's an adult rated movie and there was an India-South Africa cricket World Cup  tie on Sunday.
