Voters can now pick 'none of the above': reactions on right to reject

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has directed the Election Commission to provide a button on voting machines to allow voters to reject all candidates contesting an election in a constituency.
  • The right to reject raises a lot of questions. But we have to read the order. Right to reform electoral process is crucial. It should be prioritized by government. It is an important issue. But it's also complex and may sometimes lead to confusion. We can only react in detail after reading the whole order.
