COVID-19: How To Download Vaccine Certificate

A Vaccination Certificate is a verifiable proof of vaccination issued by the Government of India soon after a beneficiary takes the first Covid jab.

The certificate includes details of the beneficiary including name, age, gender, and the details of vaccination.

Before leaving the vaccination centre, one should ask for a digital copy, hard copy or a link to their Vaccination Certificate.

The certificate can be downloaded from the CoWIN portal or the Aarogya Setu app.

To download the certificate from CoWIN, follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit its official website (cowin.gov.in).

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the Sign In/Register button and login using the registered mobile number.

Step 3: Enter OTP (One Time Password) received on the registered phone number.

Step 4: If one has received the first dose or is fully vaccinated, one can find the certificate tab under their name.

Step 5: Click on download. Save your vaccination certificate

To download the Vaccination Certificate from Aarogya Setu app, open the app on the phone and login using the registered mobile number.

Next, go to CoWIN tab and click on the Vaccination Certificate option. Enter the 13-digit beneficiary reference ID to download the certificate.
