Parag Agrawal, 37, an IIT-Bombay graduate, is the latest in a growing club. Here's a look at the others.

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Alphabet (Google's parent company). The Chennai-born has been heading Google since 2015.

Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, was born in Hyderabad in 1967. He graduated from Karnataka's Manipal Institute of Technology in 1988.

Hyderabad-born Shantanu Narayen has been the CEO of Adobe Inc. since 2007.

Arvind Krishna, an IIT-Kanpur alum, joined IBM in the 1990s. He became IBM's CEO in 2020.


Nikesh Arora is CEO and chairman of Palo Alto Networks. He graduated from the IIT-Varanasi in 1989.
