"We (India) were one of the leaders in establishing democratic credential but military power especially aerospace power didn't get the impetus keeping in mind the environment at the time," says a nostalgic outgoing Chief of Indian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha. In the last week of his service Air Chief Marshal Raha minces no words that 36 fighters will be too few commenting on the acquisition of French Rafale medium multirole fighter aircraft. In this conversation on Walk The Talk, a proud Chief of Air Staff shares his views on the lessons learnt from the Pathankot air base terror attacks, the appointment of Chief of Defence Staff and on the arrest of former Air Chief SP Tyagi on bribery allegations in the AgustaWestland VVIP chopper scam and a lot more. He signs off saying the Indian Air Force is an all-weather force capable of tackling any threat coming India's way.
