The BJP has released its manifesto for Rajasthan today. Its poll promises target the youth - from Suraj Sankalp to Gaurav Sankalp Patra - the BJP has promised employment dole of Rs 5,000 per month with certain terms and conditions for educated youth who are 21 years of age and above and unemployed. It has also promised 30,000 government jobs per year and 50 lakh job opportunities over the next five years. The youth is an important focus for poll promises for both parties. Of the 4 crore 76 lakh 72 thousand voters in Rajasthan, 20 lakh 29 thousand 680 are youth voters and 2.58 per cent of the voters are youth between 18 to 19 years of age.
