Both the government and the opposition are wooing farmers. The government assures them that the farm bills do not mean that there will be no Minimum Support Price and Agricultural Produce Market Committees. The Minimum Support Price for wheat has also been raised. The Congress, however, has announced a nationwide agitation from September 24, where they say they will visit villages and meet the farmers.
