The Armed Forces Special Powers Act is one of the most controversial laws in the country, a law which protects serving soldiers from prosecution in disturbed areas. Now, more than 300 serving officers and men have approached the Supreme Court and have filed a criminal petition asking for AFSPA not to be diluted.
