Past few weeks have seen Maharashtra in the news for all the wrong reasons. First the potholes in Mumbai, then Shiv Sena abstaining from no-confidence motion and now the Maratha quota agitation. Many believe that the cumulative affect of all this could see a severe dent in ruling BJP's poll prospects in 2019. However, the one question which remains most pertinent is-will the BJP fight these challenges as incumbent alone or in alliance with Shiv Sena.
