Speaking to NDTV, former Miss India Ushoshi Sengupta says she was never for a moment terrified, and that as a defence officer's daughter, she was raised to be brave. 'I'm Miss India at the end of the day and its a social responsibility to stand up for each other', says Ms Sengupta. Ushoshi Sengupta, in a social media post, spoke out about a mob who allegedly attacked her Uber driver and later followed and harassed her as she shot a video of the assault on the driver.
