Rangarajan sees 8-8.5% growth this year

C Rangarajan, chairman of Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council (PMEAC) is in favour of monetary tightening to tame inflation. He says government should aim for 8-8.5 per cent growth this year instead of setting a target of 9 per cent.
