West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar, whose ties with the Mamata Banerjee government have been far from friendly, hit out at the state government over various issues. "A senior cabinet minister calls me a tourist, another minister says that I am not invited here. So far 12 ministers have taken to the field to say things and the thirteenth is the Chief Minister. but I have enormous patience," Governor Dhankhar told NDTV on Off The Cuff. The Governor and the Trinamool government have been at loggerheads. Recently, the two sparred over anti-Citizenship Act protests in the state, with the Governor asking her to "personally update" him on the situation. "According to the Constitution, the Chief Minister needs to brief me. It's been more than five months and the state witnessed several serious issues. But the Chief Minister never briefed me," Governor Dhankhar said.
