As the 2014 elections draw closer and political parties devise strategies to woo voters, there seems to be an increased focus on the Indian diaspora this year with the Congress reaching out to the youth at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and the BJP promising voting rights and better investment opportunities at an NRI Sammelan.
