The Social Network discusses if the violent lyrics of Punjabi rapper Honey Singh and Bollywood songs objectifying women can incite sexual violence. The debate comes as an online petition seeking to ban Honey Singh's performance at Bristol hotel in Gurgaon, Haryana, is making rounds on Twitter. The rapper's songs, one of which talks about deforming woman's genitals, has caused online outrage in the backdrop of the recent Delhi gang-rape and murder.
