Abraham Chacko, executive director of Federal Bank, talks to NDTV Profit about why the private lender's net profit declined 44 per cent on year. Speaking on high provisioning, Mr Chacko says weak quarterly results are a one-off. During the quarter, the bank's non-interest income grew 73.6 per cent YoY, which can be attributed to treasury gains, he adds.
