The Senior Women's National Boxing Championships are making a return after a gap of four years. Held in Haridwar with over 250 participants from across India, the tournament is being organised under the tutelage of newly-formed national governing body, the Boxing Federation of India (BFI). Speaking to NDTV, boxer Sarjubala Devi expressed her delight at the tournament's return, saying that the formation of a new governing body has helped ease the pain of missing out on competitive action in recent years.
