Bharti Infratel's Rs. 4,500 crore initial public offer, the biggest since 2010 when Coal India raised over Rs. 15,000 crore, opened for subscription on Tuesday. Akhil Gupta, VC and MD of Bharti Airtel's tower arm, says that he expects a robust demand for the tower industry. He adds that India is on the threshold of data explosion.
