Fishermen from Mumbai's Cuffe Parade area netted something unusual in their nets - a baby whale shark. The fish is endangered in places like Australia but does not have protected status in India.
The fishermen said they wanted to release the 8-foot whale shark it but couldn't, as the fish would have carried their nets away but sadly the whale shark died as it was put ashore.
