Adani buys Australian coal firm's assets for $2.7 bn

In a bid to expand its energy business, billionaire Gautam Adani-led Adani Enterprises has acquired the coal mine assets of Linc Energy of Australia for a cash and royalty package worth $2.7 billion (about Rs 2,100 crore).
