In India and across the world the 'langar sewa' or community kitchens run by the Sikh community are providing food to the poor and need without distinction or discrimination of their caste, class, religion and gender. The Sikh community has been on the forefront, relentlessly helping people during this COVID-19 pandemic. The langar sewa is a selfless service which is the basic principle of Sikhism.
