US trade gap narrows on jump in exports

The US trade deficit narrowed sharply in October as the value of exports surged and imports dipped. Brian Jones, senior economist at Societe Generale, said he was surprised by this number and it has something to do with adjustment in trade accounts. The 13 percent decrease put the trade gap at its lowest level in nine months.
