Poonam is a perfect example of what a woman can achieve if she has the support of her family. Despite being a graduate she couldn’t find a job of her choice. But her in-laws did not let this become a hurdle for her, instead they guided her to a new track to achieve her goals. Her in-laws never treated Poonam differently from their son and believed in giving her equal opportunity. Poonam opened her own silai school and is now training other women of her village and encouraging them to not hold back because of their gender.
