The memories of the 2008 downturn are still fresh in everyone minds and barely 4 years later, the country seems to be facing another crisis of sorts. The only silver lining remains that large-scale job losses and cost-cutting like in 2008 might not be repeated although employers are keeping a tight leash on salaries and also employee expectations.
