From the gender wage gap, sexual crimes to lack of sanitation, public access for women in India is riddled with various roadblocks. And while policy intervention is one way to tackle these issues, start-ups are stepping up with their own new, creative concepts. On this episode of Startup Wednesday, first up, we have 'Cash Suvidha'--a Delhi-based fin-tech company helping women entrepreneurs get unsecured business loans. Next on the list is the 'Safe Zone Project' implemented in two vulnerable areas in Delhi, which is marked by bright orange logos that look like graffiti, but represent much more than that. Finally, we speak with award-winning filmmaker, writer, curator and entrepreneur, Paromita Vohra, the mind behind the digital content platform 'Agents of Ishq'.
