At NDTV India Youth For Change Conclave, Prannoy Roy said that the three new criteria that mark the success of a news channel in India today are - fiddling with the TRPs, sensationalism or tabloid journalism and praising the authorities. NDTV, however, will not resort to these three perceived criteria of success and will stick to the values and principles of honest journalism, he said.
